Installing LED Strip Lights into LED Profile in FIVE steps

LED strips lights can be a fantastic addition to any room in your home. Installing them within a LED profile offers some great advantages.

Here's how to install strips lights into profile in five easy steps

1. Cut the profile to length

Cutting aluminium LED profile can be done using a hack saw. Mark your cut line and make sure you cut on a flat sturdy surface.

2. Cut the strip light to length

To cut LED strip light we recommend using a sharp pair of scissors. Always cut on the marked cut points.

3. Connect strip light to power supply

Connect the strip light to your LED driver using cables. You can solder the cabling to the strip light or use our solderless connectors. Check the polarity on bothe the driver and strip light.

4. Install the strip light into the profile

Remove the adhesive backing on the strip light and firmly press it into the profile. When pressing firmly make sure you press in between LED chips.

5. Mount profile to your desired surface

All our surface mounted profiles come with mounting brackets makingt them easy to install. Just screw the mouting bracket onto the surface and snap fit the profile on.
