Hints and tips:
Diffusers
Silicone diffusers will affect the brightness and CCT (colour temperature) of an LED tape when housed in a LED channel or profile. The separately sold silicone diffuser means 50-60% of the brightness of the installed LED strip light will shine through.
Non-spotting finish
Vertical Bend: To achieve a highly desired non spotting finish we recommend using an LED light strip with a minimum of 120 LEDs per metre.
Horizontal Bend: To achieve a highly desired non spotting finish we recommend using 2x lengths of our PS24 140 LEDs per metre strip, attached to both internal sides of the profile.
As a rule of thumb, the more LEDs per metre on your chosen strip light, the less chance there will be of a spotting/dotting effect.
